Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus Service

The pediatric ophthalmology service offers primary eye care to children. Children with amblyopia (crossed-eyes), tear duct disorders and other conditions of the eye receive treatment of the immediate problem as well as long-term care and monitoring of their visual development. Routine eye and vision exams are a large of our service.

Our strabismus program assists patients with comprehensive management of eye muscle imbalances in children and adults. The services of certified orthoptists are important components of the program, offering special eye measurement tests as well as treatment with glasses, prisms, patches and/or muscle exercises as required.
