Clinical Conference Series for Ophthalmologists:
2007-2008

June 14-15, 2007 (Thursday and Friday)
Iowa Eye Association Annual Meeting
with Accompanying Nurse/Technician Conference

Location:

Clinical conferences are held in the Braley Conference Auditorium in the Department of Ophthalmology at The University of Iowa, Pomerantz Family Pavilion, 200 Hawkins Dr., Iowa City, Iowa 52242-1091. To receive registration materials for any of the conferences, contact Pat Zahs at (319) 356-4475.

Patients:

All physicians are encouraged to bring patients to the clinical conferences for presentation and discussion.  To be sure there is time available, please schedule your patient with Sarah Smith, RN, MA, CRNO, at 319/356-7218 or FAX the information (319/356-0363) prior to the conference.

Continuing Education Credit:

The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

A $50 fee will be charged for continuing education credit to those physicians who are not members of the Iowa Eye Association.  Please send checks payable to Iowa Eye Association to Pat Zahs, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, Iowa  52241-1091.

For Office Assistants:

For physicians who wish to bring office assistants, a continuing education program for ophthalmic health care providers will be held concurrently in Iowa City in October and February, and during the June Iowa Eye Meeting. These programs are directed toward ophthalmic nurses and technicians offering continuing education credits through JCAHPO and the Department of Nursing. Additional information may be obtained from Sarah Smith, RN, MA, CRNO at Voice mail @ 319/356-7000, pager #5226.
