Giving You Everything

Premiering just days after the start of their world tour in Vancouver, the North American premiere of Spice Girls: Giving You Everything is a one-hour music special that tells the story of five girls: Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton, (a.k.a. Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby) who shook up the world and lived to tell the tale. There was no downward spiral into drugs and wasted opportunity - instead the girls became women who, in their own unique way, have carried on the ethos of girl power they advocated in the late nineties. The special takes viewers back in time to where it all began, and hear how the girls dreamed of making it in the male dominated world of showbiz.

Narrated by the five women themselves, and accompanied by archive footage from around the globe, the women recount why their original group of five became four, the impact it had on each of them and why eventually, after four years of dominating the pop world, they decided to go their separate ways. Finally, they make their way to the press conference podium to announce what their fans thought they might never hear - that the Spice Girls are back to re-claim their place as the most talked about group on the planet!
