SC E-Library to digitize RP int’l treaties

THE SUPREME COURT and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to digitize Philippine international treaties and make them more accessible to the public through the SC E-Library during ceremonies held at the SC Session Hall, Padre Faura, Manila on June 13.
     The MOA on the Development of an Electronic Database for Philippine International Agreements was signed by Mrs. Milagros S. Ong, Senior Chief Staff Officer and Head of the Supreme Court Library Services; Ambassador Teresita V. Berner, Director, Foreign Service Institute, DFA; Ambassador Victor G. Garcia III, Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs, DFA; and Ambassador Jose Macario Laurel IV, President, Philippine Ambassadors Foundation.
Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban and Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo both signed as witnesses. > MORE
