The Bachelor of General Studies program is designed to help you finish at home what you started at BYU. Apply previously earned credit and complete the rest of your degree from anywhere in the world through taking BYU Independent Study courses. As a BGS student, you may also take courses on campus through BYU Evening Classes, at the BYU Salt Lake Center, and during BYU spring and summer terms. Complete our simple application forms and get back on track towards your BYU graduation.
Note: To be admissible to the Bachelor of General Studies program, applicants must have previously completed at least 30 credit hours of BYU on-campus credit in Provo as an admitted day student. Please see further details in the “Admission Requirements” under the “Admission Process” tab.
