President Monson is Tuesday devotional speaker

President Thomas S. Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will deliver a BYU devotional address Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center. The devotional will be presented live on BYU Television, KBYU TV, KBYU FM and byubroadcasting.org.

America Recycles Day to be marked this week

Students and faculty are invited to learn how to become better stewards of the earth during BYU's celebration of America Recycles Day Wednesday. A lecture and panel discussion will take place Tuesday. Booths and displays on Brigham Square also will promote recycling.

Chemist Adam Woolley recognized by White House

The White House has named BYU chemist Adam Woolley a winner of the highest award the government offers to young scientists, citing his research on detecting cancer marker proteins. The award recognizes "the most promising researchers in the nation within their fields."
