Email Alias Manager

What does this product do?

Provides the ability to create an email address that can be forwarded to another email address or mailbox.

How can I access this product?

Sign in at http://www.byu.edu to select the appropriate product/service link in Route Y.

What are the features?

Users can:

• Create a custom email address ending in @byu.edu or @byu.net to use in place of a long or confusing email address
• Set up more than one alias for the same mailbox
• Create an alias with more than one forwarding address

To manage your aliases, go to Email Alias Manager.

Go to Alias Allocations for more information on the number of aliases and options allotted to each user.

The @byu.edu aliases are only provided to those who work for the University. After graduation or termination, the aliases can be removed. The only aliases that are permanent are alumni addresses in the @byu.net name space and retired faculty or staff aliases in the @byu.edu name space.
