Campus IP Television

What does this product do?

Campus IP Television allows on-campus computer access to twelve English and ten foreign language channels. The English broadcast channels are KUTV channel 2, KTVX channel 4, KSL channel 5, KUED channel 7, KBYU channel 11, KSTU channel 13, KJZZ channel 14, and UEN channel 9. There are additional English channels for NASA, C-SPAN, and C-SPAN 2. There are also channels in Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, French, Arabic, Italian, German, and Japanese.

How can I order this product?

Campus IP Television is available on computers in BYU managed public labs, Podium Computers in TEC Rooms, and most office computers. It is not available through off-campus connections, public access connections (wired or wireless), or campus housing connections. From one of the locations listed above, open a supported browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari) and go to https://home.byu.edu/ry/webapp/iptv/app page. Install the appropriate plug-in by clicking on the link provided. Then click on Click here to launch the TV player and select the channel you wish to view. Some departments run their own IPTV networks. Campus IPTV is only available through those networks if they are compatibly configured.

Campus IP Television is available to network users free of charge.
