The University provides employees and students with 20 MB of personal file storage space on a University server. This free storage space is sometimes referred to as the "U" drive and is available for both personal and work use. The U drive may be accessed from any on-campus computer which has been properly configured, or from a personal computer via the web (see left side bar for details).
Note: Network File Storage no longer supports web publishing. Refer to the Web Publishing Space product to learn how to make your home page and other web-related files accessible on the internet.
Personal file storage is automatically available in Open Access Computer Labs and TEC Rooms. Log in using your Net ID and password. The (U) User Drive is available as an icon on the desktop or can be accessed from My Computer.
The U drive is also available from a personal computer via https://netstorage.byu.edu (see link in the left side bar for more information regarding accessing the U drive from a personal computer).
NOTE: This service will no longer be available after leaving the University.
