Disability - Career Services Conference

The University Accessibility Center will host this conference. Registration is free and participants can receive up to three continuing education credits through the Utah Psychological Association.

The conference will address career concerns for college students with disabilities and explore challenges and opportunities.

The Preprofessional Advisement Center will present this fair, which is free to all students. Last year, more than 80 graduate schools from all over the country attended. Some of the programs represented will include business, medicine, dentistry, law, psychology, and engineering.

This three-hour workshop taught by Anna Wight from HRD will use case study, video, and skill practice to teach participants decision making skills for the workplace. The workshop will answer two fundamental questions:  1) How can I create the optimum conditions for good decision making?  2) When faced with major decisions, how can I find and select the best possible alternatives possible?

"Minerva Teichert: Pageants in Paint" Family Home Evening Program

This 40-minute program will allow audience members to learn about the different elements that make-up a pageant and at the end of the program will help create a live tableau of one of the works in the exhibition.The program will be offered twice every Monday evening through Dec. 17, 2007. The 6:30 p.m. program will be tailored to accommodate families with children, and the 7:30 p.m. program will be available to Brigham Young University home evening groups and others from the community.
