Now Introducing the New IT Training Curriculum Model!

Our training has been completely reorganized into smaller and more efficient units so you get in and out faster. These units are differentiated as "foundations" and "skill builder" courses. Each software program we teach has an 8-hour "foundations" course where you learn its general tools and procedures. After you finish this foundations course or an equivalent competency project, you can sign up for "skill builder" classes that independently dig deeper into specific tools of the software program, offering specialized training on your tools of choice. By structuring our classes this way, we can be sure that your basic training needs are met, while still helping you focus on the software tools that will be most helpful to you.

Tuition is free for permanent faculty, staff, and administrative employees of the university. To carry, each class must have at least four permanent employees. Employee spouses, student employees, and students at the university may sign up for classes on a standby basis, with admittance based upon permanent-employee attendance.

Announcements

To Register for the New IT Training Classes

Adding and dropping Training classes is easy on our site. Permanent faculty, staff, and administrative employees may register or pre-register for courses online. If you pre-register for a course that has not been scheduled yet, you will receive an email when we schedule it, and you may register at that time. We schedule classes based on the number of permanent-employee pre-registrations. To register, click on Instructor-led Training>>Register for Courses by Topic (to view a list of available courses), or Instructor-led Training>>Course Calendar (to view currently-scheduled courses).

Employee spouses, student employees, and students at the university who would like to enroll in training classes are welcome to enroll on a standby basis. Standby admittance is based upon permanent-employee attendance.
