One-million visitors can't be wrong—the NSARM Internet website

In 1998, Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management launched a website to provide Nova Scotians with access to their documentary heritage via the Internet. A five-member work team is responsible for the thirty virtual exhibits, seventeen searchable databases and five resource guides now available on the Website. More than 10,000 historical photographs, documents, maps, print materials, sound recordings and film clips present a treasure trove of digitized resources that only begin to display the richness of Nova Scotia's archival heritage. This year, more than one-million visitors — students, life-long learners, genealogists, tourists and armchair adventurers — are expected to visit the distinctive site and experience its innovative, interactive resources.
