Revisions to the 2005 Subcounty Population Estimates

An internal audit of the process used to review the county and sub-county estimates found that incorporated place totals were not summed to county totals for a small number of areas. Our investigation revealed that the estimates for the group quarters population at the county level did not equal the sum of the group quarters population at the subcounty level for the places listed below. The following table presents the revised estimates for all the affected places as well as the original estimate and the difference between these two estimates.
