City Council - The new website of the New York City Council, makes it easier for New Yorkers to keep track of what their council members are doing. Users can type in their own addresses to find out who represents them at City Hall, read news directly from city council members, look at voting records, and email sponsors of bills and resolutions directly from the website. Gotham Gazette's Searchlight - Gotham Gazette's coverage of news from City Hall. Includes a daily roundup of news in the press and articles on City Council meetings, including summaries of laws passed and how council members voted. Also a directory of neighborhoods provides information on each City Council district, featuring an article by the council member, demographic information, maps, and more.

New York City Council Upcoming Hearings Schedule - The City Council will hold executive budget hearings throughout May, with the one day for public testimony scheduled for Monday, May 24 at 1:30pm
Office of the Comptroller - All imaginable financial info ranging from police staffing to budget process. Also, links to other parts of the Council's site for their schedule, information on local laws, newsgroups and mailing lists. The City Comptroller's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for FY 2004 is now available, an invaluable resource for comptroller audits as well as the final word on last year's budget numbers.
Public Advocate - Official website of the Public Advocate, who is responsible for reporting the failure of any City agency or official to comply with the New York City Charter. The office also monitors the effectiveness of the City's public information and education efforts about citywide initiatives.
