The History Channel® and Invent Now® Inc., named the top 25 inventions of 2007 through the second annual Modern Marvels Invent Now® Challenge, a national competition searching for America’s next great invention idea. Dr. David Jensen, civil engineering professor, was recognized for his Continuous Fabrication of Complex Composite IsoTruss® Structure. Following in the footsteps of many other award winning BYU animated short films such as Noggin and Turtles, the recent Las Piñatas garnerd the BYU Animation Program yet another student Emmy.

Jay Christofferson, professor in the School of Technology, received the Outstanding Educator Award from the National Associate of Home Builders at this years International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida.
