Immigrants Rally for Reform
Thousands of New York City immigrants joined their counterparts across the country in a rally for immigration policy reform yesterday. Marching from Washington Square Park and Union Square, immigrant advocates are hoping Congress passes a law that would grant undocumented immigrants work visas. A report by the American Lung Association shows New York City's air is even more polluted than it was last year. Last year, New York City was ranked the 15th-worst region in the country for daily particle pollution. Pollution levels are even worse this year, according to the report.
