The Slovenian Genealogy Society International, Inc. is a charitable 501c3 corporation chartered in Pennsylvania.

WHAT IS SGSI:  We are a self-help, non-profit society, composed entirely of volunteers who love family history.  The Society can bring you up to date on established information sources, as well as keep you abreast of new sources through our quarterly newsletter.  We encourage a free interchange of information among our members and try to find new and innovative ways to share our data and information.  We encourage our members to participate, to the extent they are able, in genealogical projects such as building indexes and collecting books.

SGSI Library:  By appointment only.  It is located at the President's address in Pennsylvania.  We are actively seeking donations of Slovenian books, book swaps of duplicates with other Slovenian collections, seeking Slovenian photographs for safekeeping, etc.  Don’t know what to do with those old Slovenian books, magazines, and church jubilee books in Grandma’s attic?  Contact Al Peterlin at the SGSI Library, apeterlin@panetwork.com
