Democritus says: "I am neither for nor against war as a means. It has a time a place to be implemented. What is distressing is that this Bush administration has ignored the analysis, advice and plans by the U.S. military and various intelligence agencies and their expert leaders and personnel. In no other time in the U.S. history has so many intelligence and military officers resigned or spoken out in opposition to a president's administration's agenda and policies. Furthermore, reports by various news media and interviews with men on the ground in Afghanistan and in Iraq so often paint a completely different picture of what is happening over there than the views that the Bush administration tries to sell to the public. I have had to ask myself to which media is the Bush administration watching, listening or reading, because so much of what is reported by the top level politicians is so different from what is reported by the news media and our own military and intelligence people over there."
"U.S. Military were ordered to stay back in order to let Afghani militias engage Al Qaida in battle at Tora Bora. The Afghani militias accepted bribes from the Al Qaida in exchange for allowing Bin Laden along with many other Al Qaida members a chance to escape. Bush and other top level politicians denied that this event happened though it was widely televised in News including CNN."

"The marines were ordered to lay siege to Falluja. Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez halted the siege after 3 days of pounding the city by Marines in order to create a Falluja Brigade. Falluja recruits were mixing with insurgents and handed over uniforms, weapons + radios + trucks provided by the U.S. The Falluja brigade was disbanded. But its former members were offered recruitment into the Iraqi army."

"A sobering perspective of the enemy, mistakes made and mis-management of the war on terror by government employees more concerned with preserving their careers than performing their duties, the "do not rock the boat attitude" that goes along with working for the government. Lots more to think about in this book that requires courage to also look inside oneself."

"1 of the events in this book was reported in the media. An armed drone spotted 2 men who got out of a vehicle. Those monitoring scene from the drone thought it was Bin Laden + ordered an air strike on him. No more was reported. I could not find more information about whether it was Bin Laden on whom an air strike was ordered. This book reveals that it was one of our own working with the CIA."
"Attempts to refute the Bush Administration's reasons for going to war against Iraq. Some good arguments in this video. But some lack the extraordinary evidence required to support extraordinary claims. "Uncovered - The War on Iraq" is a better video."

"The U.S. government did nothing to get poor + disabled residents of New Orleans out of the path of Katrina, 1 of the most powerful storms in U.S. history despite a few days of warning by the weather service. Bush accepted responsibility for failure to respond to this emergency but also indicated that the U.S. government would not play a major part in rebuilding. New Orleans must help itself."
