The Libertarian majority Lee Soil and Water Conservation District Board voted Jan. 11 to eliminate the lab, saying the program was a waste of tax money. The Libertarian Party's platform is one of promoting liberty, where individuals control their own fate with little government interference."

Presumably people would be unable to board airplanes, enter federal buildings or cash a check at a bank. The party on Monday urged Pennsylvania's General Assembly to follow the example of Maine's Legislature and reject Real ID."
