Our People
The clinics and laboratories that make up the Center for Macular Degeneration employ over 175 physicians, administrators, support staff, researchers, and technicians.
Faculty
Each Center unit is led by one or more University of Iowa faculty members.
Advisory Board
The CMD's advisory board is a group of individuals who guide the Center in its mission to research and treat degenerative eye diseases.
Development Committee
The Center's Development Committee is responsible for building the Center's financial resources.
Staff
Fellows, residents, nurses, researchers, research assistants, technicians and administrators make up the bulk of the staff who work in the CMD's component clinics and laboratories, doing everything from designing experiments to treating patients.
