May 7, 1988 – The Pittsburgh Gladiators scored a record 82 points against the New England Steamrollers (who managed to gain just 26 points), which is still on the books tied at No. 13 for most points scored in a single game. The current record is, of course, held by the New York Dragons, who posted 99 points against the Carolina Cobras (67 points) on July 7, 2001.
