Annual Conference 2007

The fourth annual conference is scheduled for February 22-24, 2007 in Coronado, California.

The conference theme is “Active Living in Diverse and Disadvantaged Communities.”

Presentations will share various perspectives related to economics, crime, culture, etc., and will focus on the prevention of obesity in communities, neighborhoods, children, and families.

The annual conference provides a forum for grantees and other investigators to share findings and be informed on policy and environmental issues related to physical activity in diverse and disadvantaged communities.

At this year's conference, the oral and poster presentations will present innovative studies from diverse investigative teams and invited keynote speakers will stimulate new thinking.
