Facilities Modifications

The Facilities Modification Request (Fac Mod) review process must be completed prior to:

Structural/physical changes of interior space (i.e., demolition or new construction of walls, ceilings, floors, stairs, etc., installation of fixed equipment or furniture requiring utility connections, including HVAC systems, AC window units, fume hoods, gas cabinets, etc., taps into building utilities or mechanical system, e.g., adding or attaching to an exhaust ventilation system, adding hardwired electrical equipment, etc.)
Changes in use of space (e.g., conference room to office, hallway to office, teaching lab to research lab, Chemistry space to Statistics space)
Changes in room numbers, door numbers and unassigned space
Exterior changes to buildings
Locating equipment interior or exterior to buildings
