Join us in making history!

The Mock Convention begins mid-afternoon on Friday, Feb. 20 and ends around noon on Saturday, Feb. 21. Spend two days discussing the issues in the party platform and deciding the Democratic Party's presidential and vice presidential nominees. Listen to elected officials, candidates, and campaign representatives debate who should be the next President of the United States.

How do you get involved?

1. Serve as a State Chair. Research the politics of your state and recruit delegates to attend the convention. To volunteer as a state chair contact Wes Goodman or Joni Roberson..

2. Become a delegate. As part of a state delegation, you attend the convention to debate the platform and choose the party's presidential ticket. You also can help your state chair create the delegation's banner or mount a campaign to support a particular issue or candidate. To become a delegate click here for map and list of state chairs.

3. Join the convention staff. Work behind the scenes doing just about anything...from building the convention podium, hanging banners, distributing credentials, or filming convention speakers. Everyone's talent is needed and welcomed!
