To Dr. Johnetta Davis, Associate Dean for Student Affairs,
on receiving a 2006 University of Maryland Presidential Service
Award
Presidential Service Awards are given in recognition
of exemplary leadership, outstanding job performance, and distinctive
contributions to the University community. Dr. Davis, Associate Dean
for Student Affairs and Director of Graduate Recruitment, Retention,
and Diversity, is dedicated to helping all graduate students achieve
at the highest possible level through programming, outreach, mentorship,
and counseling. She is an invaluable member of the Graduate School
staff.

Charles Caramello, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean
of the Graduate School
On July 1st, 2006, Dr. Charles Caramello will assume the duties of Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School, taking over for departing Interim Dean Ann G. Wylie.
