Linda Burney and Rick Farley

Rick Farley was former Executive Director of the National Farmers' Federation and a lifelong advocate for farmers and indigenous Australians. His partner, Linda Burney, is an educator and the first Aboriginal Member of Parliament in NSW.
Rick Farley died aged 53 on May 13, 2006.

A member of the Wiradjuri nation of Australia and the Member for Canterbury in the NSW Legislative Assembly. She was formerly the Director General of the NSW Department of Aboriginal Affairs.
Rick Farley
Rick worked for rural organisations for 20 years firstly with the Cattlemen's Union of Australia and then as the Executive Director of the National Farmers' Federation. He then ran the Farley Consulting Group.
