*LoL*

Dear lord...that's funny. Gotta' love the guys to be able to be goofy at the drop of a hat. Then again, they we're comedians. And a darn fine rock group as well.

Jeffkahl- Yeah, Pete had already quit by then.

Too bad too. I understand that it was Peter that encouraged Mickey and Davy to learn to play their instruments.

Well, I know Pete helped Mick learn the drums. Micky already knew rythm guitar, he was in a couple of garage bands pre-monkees. I understand why he left though. Imagine bein in a band where no one wants to really be around each other that much. I mean, "The Monkees Present" was bascically four tracks to each guy doin' whatever they wanted. *shrug* I'm honestly surprised it wasn't Mike first.

Davy is acting weird. But this is pretty good.

LoL, I've never seen this but I have heard them all singing on a cd a friend gave me! I'm just glad I can finally watch it. Davys dancing(if you call that dancing hehe) always makes me laugh!

That's really classic music hall entertainment, and it's just so charming and offbeat!! Love it!

I guess Peter had left by the time this aired. Does anyone know when this was originally aired? Davy is probably high.

Aww the monkees were ok. Use to watch reruns of their show. I didn't know they were ever on Johnnys show. Glad to see he thought they were ok too.
