SBI takes employees' revised offer to Govt.

Mumbai, April. 8 (PTI): Striking SBI employees and bank management today moved a step closer to ending a six-day long strike, after the unions submitted a toned down offer during an over three-hour meeting with Bank Chairman A K Purwar. After the meeting, All India SBI Staff Federation General Secretary P K Patnaik told reporters that the union has given a revised offer restricting their demand for 50 per cent of last drawn salary as pension up to AGM level (scale V) instead of earlier demand ..
