Memberships with the Bella Vista Ambulance
Service are available for all village
residents and those who spend time in Bella
Vista. Memberships are $40 per year per
household for those with insurance and $80
for households without insurance, with $10
covering members’ guests as well. The Bella Vista Ambulance Service responds to all 9-1-1 calls in the Bella Vista area, with a minimum charge of $450 per ambulance run, plus mileage and extra services and supplies. Members of the Bella Vista Ambulance Service are entitled to free emergency transportation as many times per year as needed, to a hospital of their choice within the designated service area. Final transport decisions involving the destination hospital for all emergencies will be made by the Bella Vista EMS personnel and emergency room medical control. The Bella Vista Ambulance Service reserves the right to bill directly to all appropriate insurance or medical benefits coverage providers for services rendered that are medically necessary and covered by a member’s policy. Memberships are not an insurance policy and may not be transferred; memberships do not cover non-emergency transport, mileage beyond the nearest appropriate facility, services not covered by insurance or services not medically necessary. The Bella Vista Ambulance Service is a state certified and licensed Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service and belongs to the American and Arkansas Ambulance Associations as well as the Arkansas and National EMT Associations. Established in 1977, the Bella Vista Ambulance Service is a nonprofit corporation with monthly board of directors’ meetings open to the public.
