    Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has ruled out being in the race for Prime Ministership and said that she derived happiness and takes pride in being the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. She also said that her call for AIADMK cadres to win maximum number of seats was only to secure the State's rights from the Centre.

    The Centre will soon launch a scheme to provide urban amenities to rural areas in the country.     Vedas are not one more object like table or chair that we see, but it is understood in the form of vriddis (thoughts). Even for reciting Vedas certain Anushtanams (a set of austerities) are necessary, explained Swami Dayananda Saraswathi in his discourse at the first anniversary celebrations of Vedic Sangeetha Foundation. Further, there are six pramanas -- means to knowledge -- and all the first five have their roots in the sixth one based on the Vedas.
