Humps N' Horns

The purpose of the Humps N' Horns Tour is to enhance the PBR's structure and meet the desire for more events to cultivate the skills of young PBR permit holders.

Sponsored by Humps N' Horns Bull Riding News, the tour operates as a stepping stone to the Enterprise Tour and U. S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Challenger Tour which in turn feeds the field of the world's top 45 bull riders that make up the PBR's Built Ford Tough Series.

The Humps N' Horns Tour will ensure permit holders a place to compete. Historically, permit holders have had difficulty gaining entry into Challenger Tour events. It is not uncommon for the PBR's bull riding administration department to receive more than 150 entries for just 45 positions.

The PBR anticipates over 30 Humps N' Horns Tour events, expanding the number of promoters affiliated with the PBR. As with the Challenger Tour, money earned at these events will count toward Built Ford Tough Series qualification status. The Humps N' Horns format will allow 40 contestants in the preliminary round with eight taken to the finals nightly.
