NEON WEDNESDAY: Primus plays Hard Rock

One of the more beloved weirdo bands around, Primus -- which recorded the theme song for "South Park" -- heads into the Hard Rock tonight.

Primus has developed a solid foundation of fans by having leader Les Claypool conduct offbeat and often brilliant little songs that owe their roots to such serious inspirations as Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets cost $32.50 at the box office, 4455 Paradise Road, and through Ticketmaster. To charge by phone, call 693-5066.
