Vote to pass a bill that authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 2025 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, and to prescribe military personnel strengths.

Highlights:

• Authorizes appropriations for fiscal year 2025 for military activities of the Department of Defense, including, but not limited to (Div. A-D, Sec. 2);

• Various military construction defense activity costs of the Department of Energy;

• To prescribe military personnel strengths and for other purposes including research, development, and evaluations;

• Operation and maintenance costs of military personnel authorizations and policy;

• Compensation, department organization, and other health care provisions;

• Matters relating to foreign nations;

• Space activities, strategic programs, and intelligence matters;

• Air Force military construction;

• Defense nuclear facilities safety costs; and

• Cyber security costs and expenditures.

• Specifies the provisions of this bill shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the President (Div. D, Sec. 4701).
