Vote to invoke cloture and pass a bill that expands nationwide access to fertility treatment, including in vitro fertilization.

Highlights:

• Expands nationwide access to fertility treatment and authorizes patients to seek and receive fertility treatment, including assisted reproductive technology (in-vitro fertilization) services (Title I-III, Sec. 101-301)

• Specifies health care providers that choose to provide fertility treatment may provide such services without States enacting harmful or unwarranted limitations or requirements that single out the provision of assisted reproductive services (Sec. ).

• Prohibits health or medical restrictions that (Title I-III, Sec. 101-301):

• Are not consistent with accepted evidence-based medical standards of care;

• Do not significantly advance reproductive health or the efficacy and safety of fertility treatment; or 

• Make fertility treatment more difficult to access.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect exactly one year following passage and approval by the President (Title IV, Sec. 401).
