Sept. 11, 2006
ESPN's "College GameDay," the popular college football pre-game show featuring Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso, will originate from outside the soldout Coliseum this Saturday (Sept. 16) prior to the big non-conference matchup between No. 2-ranked USC and No. 19 Nebraska.
This will be "College GameDay's" fourth visit to a USC home game.
The 2-hour show will begin at 7 a.m. PT from a stage set up just outside the peristyle (east) end of the Coliseum. After the 5 p.m. PT USC-Nebraska game, the show will resume with "Scoreboard" and "SportsCenter" segments.
Fans are encouraged to watch the show in person both before and after the game-and appear in the frequent televised crowd shots as Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso talk about the day's games. There will be a large video board on the set showing live coverage of games throughout the nation.
