Disabled American Veterans of Texas Monument: Erected 1980 by the membership of the Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary, Department of Texas.; Designer: Unknown; Capitol Historical Artifact Collection, State Preservation Board; The Texas Sunset Red Granite base includes inscriptions and the bronze seal of the Disabled American Veterans. The monument pays tribute all Texan veterans disabled while serving in the U.S. military services.
