How just over 6 lakh voters made it an NDA, not Modi, sarkar

In a nation of 97.6 crore voters, just about 6 lakh voters finally decided whether it would be an NDA, INDIA or Modi government that governs India for next five years

Winning a majority is a fascinating and complex exercise in democracies. Is it an art? Is it a science? How do you get a majority? It varies from democracy to democracy.
You can win the largest chunk of the total votes cast and still lose an election. In the US presidential election history, this has happened five times so far, most recently in 2016. Donald Trump won the US presidency against Hillary Clinton despite losing the popular vote. Though not extremely rare, it’s also not a frequent occurrence.
