West Bengal JEE Result 2024: Kingshuk Patra from Bankura tops, 1.12 lakh students pass

WBJEE Result 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has declared the results for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024 today, on June 6, 2024. However, candidates who have appeared in the WBJEE exam will be able to download their results from the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.
The notification states that downloadable 'Rank Cards' for WBJEE 2024 will be accessible on the Board's websites, specifically at www.wbjeeb.nic.in and www.wbjeeb.in, starting from 4:00 pm onwards.This announcement comes after the successful conduct of the WBJEE 2024 on April 28th, 2024.

This year, a total of 113,492 students appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024. Out of these, 112,963 students were successful, resulting in an impressive pass percentage of 99.53%.
The examination was conducted across 325 centers, ensuring a wide reach and accessibility for candidates across the state.

Rank 1: Kingshuk Patra
Rank 2: Subhradeep Paul
Rank 3: Bibaswan Biswas

Kingshuk Patra, who secured the first rank, is a student of Bankura Zilla School located on College Road, Bankura, and belongs to the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
The second rank was achieved by Subhradeep Paul from Kalyani University Experimental High School, situated at 281 A-B Connector, B 16, Block B, Kalyani, West Bengal, also under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
Bibaswan Biswas, who attained the third rank, hails from Bishop Morrow School in Krishnagar, Nadia, and is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

In terms of gender distribution, 113,492 candidates appeared for the examination, with 79,025 males and 34,467 females. Among them, 78,621 males and 34,342 females successfully passed the exam, resulting in a total of 112,963 successful candidates. Here's an overview:

The top 10 ranks were well-distributed among students from different educational boards. Four students were from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, four from CBSE, and two from ISC. This diversity highlights the competitiveness and broad participation in the WBJEE 2024.
