Kangana Ranaut who recently won the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Mandi, was off to Delhi for the Parliament today. The actress had shared some pictures as she jetted off. She was seen in a lilac saree as she dropped selfies and a picture hugging her mother before going to Delhi. However, while she was on her way, Kangana has alleged that she has been slapped by a CISF(Central Industrial Security Force) official at Chandigarh airport.The video of this incident has gone viral on the internet. This happened around 3:30 pm on Thursday.

The name of the guard who slapped her, is being told as Kulwinder Kaur. As per Kangana's political advisor, a female CISF guard slapped the actress inside Chandigarh airport, as she was not happy with Kangana for speaking against the farmers' movement. This guard first questioned Kangana about farmers agitation and farmers condition in Punjab and later got agitated enough to slap the actress.
Kangana has demanded that this CISF guard should be removed and strict action should be taken against her as soon as possible.

Kangana has now taken to her social media and dropped a video saying that she's safe. She further added, "Firstly, I am safe and perfectly fine. What happened at Chandigarh airport, it happened during the security check. As soon as I finished the check, a CISF personnel in another cabin waited for me to cross her and instantly came towards me and hit me on my face. She also abused me. When I asked her why she did this, she said that she supported the farmer's protest. My concern is that the terrorism that is which is growing in Punjab, how do we handle that?"
An inquiry committee comprising senior CISF officers has been set up to conduct a further investigation.
On work front, the 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress will be seen next in 'Emergency' which is also directed by her. The film revolves around the post-Independence Indian history, from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had declared a nationwide state of emergency. Kangana plays Indira Gandhi in the movie.
