Freedom House is Barrier Free Living’s safe and accessible shelter for survivors of domestic violence with disabilities and their families. This BFL program offers counseling, support groups, advocacy, safety planning.

BFL Apartments offers permanent housing for survivors of domestic violence with disabilities, and veterans with disabilities. Services include on-site counseling, skill-building workshops, and community events. The complex is currently full, and there is no waiting list.

Freedom Village will be a newly constructed supportive housing project on the Lower East Side of New York City. The project is an Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) project serving two supportive populations including survivors of domestic violence and frail elderly seniors.
