Tax Season Updates

Please use the Delaware Taxpayer Portal for all your Delaware Personal Tax filing needs. Visit https://tax.delaware.gov to make an estimated tax payment by selecting the link on the right side of the portal login page titled “Submit and Estimated Payment”. You can file a Delaware Personal Income Tax return by selecting the link under Individuals titled “File a Personal Income Tax Return”. You do not need to register as a portal user to submit an estimated payment or file a personal income tax return.

The 988 Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention Services surcharge established by 84 Del. Laws c 168 is in effect beginning January 1, 2024. Filing of the 988 Telecommunications Surcharge Form and surcharge payments must be made electronically through the Delaware Taxpayer Portal.

Bulk filing for Withholding Tax returns & payments as well as bulk filing of Withholding Annual Reconciliation returns is available on the DE Taxpayer portal: tax.delaware.gov

The Division of Revenue does not anticipate issuing any refunds until February 15th, 2024. Delaware’s expectation is that refund processing will require 10 to 12 weeks after a return with a refund request is submitted.
