Martin-Perry Gardens Cleanup

Farmers Insurance Volunteers

Colleagues of Jo Cornish Gerwig from Farmers Insurance and PLHS volunteers spent a beatiful May morning sprucing up the MPH grounds and garderns for the seaason. We thank the Farmers Insurance friends for their contribution in Jo's memory. Thanks also to Linda Lakemacher for coordinating the event and to Mary and Steve Schenk for pitching in with their labor and expertise. Many hands made light work and the results are beautiful.

Haunting Histories

Cherise Williams

Cherise Williams provided an informative presentastion to an audience that overflowed the Martin-Perry House. She explained what hauntings are, providing various theories/explanations for supernatural phenomena, and spoke about several sites in Ohio as well as Powell and her study of our own Martin-Perry House. She demonstrated the equipment that she uses in her searches and answered numerous questions. Thank you, Cherise, for a great program.
